A third generation Bostonian, Nathan is a graduate of Boston University with a major in real estate finance and business law. Nathan’s prior business experience was at IBM Office Products Division, CW Whittier Real Estate (CBRE), Grubb & Ellis, Claremont Companies, Keller Companies, National Health Care Associates. Nathan formed Blue Chip Companies in 1980 and has since advised developers and owners of single family, multi-family, hospitality, retail, office, parking and senior living assets across the Country for their real estate acquisitions, dispositions and financings. In the health care sector, Blue Chip focused on Long Term Care, Assisted Living, Independent living and Memory Care. Blue Chip has represented many large and small healthcare clients in their acquisitions of ancillary therapy, pharmacy, mobile diagnostic & hospice companies with over $1.5B in healthcare transactions. With a focus on large commercial transactions in non-traditional assets classes such as golf and resort, urban parking and life science. Nathan has successfully transacted several billion dollars in business for key clients: GE Capital, Equity Residential, Avalon Bay, Prudential Real Estate, Formation Capital, Belz Hotels and Simon Malls. Community and Philanthropic involvement is a way of life for Nathan. As president of the local Chamber of Commerce Planning Committee, an active Big Brother through Big Brother Big Sister of Massachusetts (nominated Big Brother of the year) and immediate past President of the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cape Cod. Currently a board advisor to Sherborn’s Council on Aging and Chairman of Friends of Farm Pond. Today, Nathan is a real estate advisor with Engel & Volkers Wellesley office. Having been a home owner in Boston, Brookline, Newton, Wellesley, Wayland, Sherborn, Medfield and Mashpee, Nathan has a well-rounded view of our residential marketplace. Nathan’s professional approach provides unique personal service to buyers and sellers. With a passion for working closely with each client to maximize valuation. Nathan lives with his family in Sherborn Ma. He has built four horse farms for his family over the years and is an avid horseback rider.
